Saturday Sketch Challenge 146

Good Evening Friends!
I'm very excited to present another sketch challenge on behalf of your 411 operators! This week's sketch is super simple, but beautiful too.. We hope that the samples below bring you some inspiration and that you'll play along with us.

It's always exciting to see how different everyone's cards are different from one another and I'm always amazed at what our readers are creating, so thanks so much for being an inspiration to us! Have an idea for our "how to Wednesday?" just leave us a comment, we read them all!

So ~ on to the sketch measurements!
I'm on the top this week, so these are the measurements for my 5th avenue floral card below. If you would like additional information on any of the cards below, just click on the card and you'll be transported to that operator's blog for more information.

Base: rich Razzeberry 11 x 4 1/4", scored and folded in half at 5 1/2".
Layer 2: Bordering Blue 5 1/8" x 3 7/8" ** note this is 1/8" larger on two sides than layer 3.. don't over think it.. :)
Layer 3: 5 x 3 3/4", then embossed with the big shot using the polkadot embossing folder.Layer 4 3 1/8" x 4 1/8" and eyelet border punched across the top.
Layer 5: Shimmer white, sponged with razzleberry ink, 3 x 3 3/4"
Layer 6: Embossed and cut out flower from 5th avenue floral stamp set
Layer 7: Celebrate, stamped from Matchbox Messages, and punched with the mini tag from the mini.

Never played with us before?? Well, it's easy!
  1. Make a card
  2. Post it online somewhere to your blog or other online forum
  3. Post a link to Mr. Linky (Please be sure to link to your post and not just to your blog so we can find your post a few days later). need directions on that? Check out our posts on "how to use mr linky"
  4. Have some fun and leave comments for each other (and for the operators if you like their work). ~ Everyone loves comments!
We hope you join us this week and play along with this VERY simple but super cute and fun to play with sketch! But don't delay... Mr. Linky will only hang out until Thursday morning at 8 am EST.
