Stamper's Showcase #214

Hello everyone and welcome to Stamping 411! We appreciate your faithfulness while the Operators have taken a break during July and are thrilled that so many of you continued to play along each week! Well ... we're back!!! And here are your Operator Picks for Sketch Challenge #214.

Color Challenge #61

Hey everyone! It's great to be back with a new color challenge. The Stamping 411 operators thoroughly enjoyed their month vacation, and now we are refreshed and revitalized to bring you even more stamping inspiration.

Selene announced on Friday night that we have a few surprises for you. The color inspiration challenge is now only featured once a month. You will find a brand new color challenge on the first Thursday of every month.

What are on the other Thursdays? I guess you're just going have to stop by and see for yourself. I know...I am such a tease!!!!

Now, let's talk color. Every July 1st, Stampin' Up! announces five new In Colors. These five colors are available for two years. Since I love color, I just had to play with some of the new ones. They work so perfectly together!!!

The colors I've chosen are: Island Indigo, Calypso Coral and Pool Party.

Now, I realize you may not have these colors yet. Feel free to substitute colors that are close that you already own. For example, try Not Quite Navy instead of Island Indigo.

Since it's SO hot across most of the country, I felt it was my duty to create a card to cool everyone off. A cute little snowman card seemed to fit that bill.
As you can see, the card is predominantly Island Indigo and Pool Party, but the little touches of Calypso Coral just make the snowman "pop".

I just think this card is so cool.....ha ha!

Have I inspired you to play with some new colors? I hope so!!! If you'd like to play with this month's Color Inspiration Challenge, just link your project's web address to our blog using the Linky Tool below.

I can't wait to see what you come up with!!!
