I became acquainted with your website only a few weeks ago and I love it! I'm more of a visual learner so I really enjoy the videos. I've been a stamper for about 6 yrs now but with mu DH's declining health, I'm not able to stamp as much as I would love to.
ReplyDeletePlease keep up all of the good work and I'll continue to keep checking in.
TIA,

I am a regular blogger to your blog, I havent yet uploaded a card but have done many. What I love is how you give mesurments to the cards. I am a SU demo and am always refering to your blog to customers when they ask for easy card designs. I find the way you write easy for the novice stamper to the advance.
ReplyDeleteA mid week colour challnge would be great it would be a great way of do sketch then later in the week do the sketch with a different colour to show how a same design can look different.
thank you

I just became a blogger during the summer and loved seeing what everyone was doing and different cards/stamps/techniques used I love all that I saw and started my own blog late Sept 09. I recently started the 411 stamping challenge and love the challenge and try to do my own twist on the sketch but stay in the guidelines. You inspire me and I love the feedback I get from everyone. Tutorials/videos are great and other challenges wouldn't be bad it's just when to get it in with working and all but hay I would try it. Thanks for all you do and thought put into it. I know I appreciate it all and hope you all have a wonderful Thanksgiving be safe traveling. Thanks bjcraftdiva@centurytel.net stampingwithinkonmyfingers.blogspot.com
ReplyDeleteHi Operators...thank you for asking for feedback!! It is nice to be heard. I really enjoy your website, I love the measurements and the way you guide new stampers. I would love colour challenges or theme challenges as well but I do just LOVE the sketches. They are user friendly!!
ReplyDeleteKeep up the good work!
Lesley :)
I have been an avid fab of Stamping 411 since it first began. I enjoy it very much. I have made several of the cards for swaps and used them at my stamp classes. The cards are beautiful and I get so many ideas of the different looks you can get from one design. I definately vote for more tutorials! They are great. Thanks so much for the wonderful site.

What I love most about this blog is the challenges you offer and the plus that you give suggested measurements. I don't always get to them, but they are usually saved for a time when I can get at them. Your card samples are fabulous and a great tinspriration!

Happy Thanksgiving and thank you so much for the opportunity to win such wonderful goodies. I just adore the sketches. It makes card making so much easier for me...I don't have to think about the design but just want stamps and papers to use. I have tried so many more things because of your blog and the ideas you (our wonderful operators) and the other readers share. Thank you!
ReplyDeleteI visit frequently- do many of the cards but have not uploaded. Love that the measurements are included and the sketches- wonderful to see color choices which I may not have thought of. It is nice to take a break- (as now after getting turkey in the oven!!) to get inspiration and highlight ideas I want to try in the future. Thanks so much. Kathy
ReplyDeleteI visit every week and participate most of the time. I love the sketches. I often use them for cards I do in my workshops because they are not too difficult for the novice stamper, and I happen to have a fair number of novice stampers in my group. When they ask me where I get the ideas for my cards, I tell them to check out Stamping 411!
ReplyDeleteI love your blog! I enjoy the card sketches the best and what all the operators come up with. I would like to see more tutorials and gift set ideas. But I love your site no matter what! You are all so talented. Thanks so much for sharing your talent with all of us. Pam
ReplyDeleteI love this site because it is so informative. Before I came to this site I has no idea on measurements for a card. I love the site how it is but I would love to see a color challenge. other than that I can think of nothing else, keep the good work up.
ReplyDeleteHappy Thanksgiving! It is a beautiful day here! After much rain and gray! I keep coming back to your blog because of the inspiration. I love when actual dimensions are given. so often that is lacking on other blogs. I LOVE tutorials and have learned so much. You can keep the blog the same or add even more tutorials. Either way, I am coming back, day after day! Thanks!

I love this site. I love all the tutorials and the great inspiration that can be had here. I love the site how it is. I do tend to lean more toward sketch challenges.
ReplyDeleteI just find this site about a week ago and already love it! I look forward to seeing more!
ReplyDeleteHappy Thanksgiving!!
I love, love, love your sketches! They give me a great starting point when I'm making a card! Thanks for 'sketching' for us!
ReplyDeleteThree words: ideas, ideas, ideas!
ReplyDeleteI'm new to Stampin Up and crafting cards ... love the tutorials and the creative inspiration I receive from my class and ... this BLOG is the "frosting on the cake"!
ReplyDeleteI would like a few Holiday color challenges. I purchased the new colors card stock and pens in August and was not thinking ahead that I might like red and green for Christmas cards in my initial purchase. I've solved it by focusing on the Christmas Carolers and Snowman Scarfs
I think your weekly sketch challenge is awesome! I love your blog because it is SU! and you have fabulous designers to be inspired from. I would LOVE to see another mid-week challenge, but then again I'm a challenge junkie, so take that for what it's worth! Happy Thanksgiving!
ReplyDeleteI truly enjoy this site for all the great challenges and the beautiful and fun examples put forth by so many wonderful stamp artists. Thank you for your hard work on this site and Happy Thanksgiving to you all.
ReplyDeleteI like that your sketches are great for beginners AND experienced stampers. The sketches are great inspiration and the measurments are a great help in getting a card done quickly. I'd enjoy a color challenge too! Happy Holidays to all!
ReplyDeleteI'm grateful to your operators for always coming up with fantastic ideas & directions that are helpful and inspirational to the novice, intermediate, and experienced paper crafter! Thanks for presenting the challenges, and sharing your expertise!
ReplyDeleteI love tutorials and new ideas and you've got it! It's so helpful to hear what others do with certain stamps, certain colors, certain punches, etc., because sometimes it may never have occurred to you. I just love the sharing, so THANK YOU so very much for sharing your talent.
ReplyDeletei just found your site a few weeks ago and i love it. i think your challenges are great and i love how you have the measurements, thats a big help for everyone. i love the blog how it is but would come back more often if there was other things on the agenda, like you sais a color challenges etc... thanks for helping to give me inspiration
ReplyDeleteTutorials! One thing that makes your site different is that you provide dimensions for your projects. It makes it so easy to recreate the look and/or switch it up to fit a different set! I can print up the design idea along with a few others I've saved and then sit down to a few hours of stamping as I make something following your card layout. Great fun, and oh so less stressful! From Made2stamp@hotmail.com
ReplyDeleteMy favorite thing about this blog is that it is so friendly, the sketches are great, and it is PINK! Woohoo! Happy Thanksgiving!
ReplyDeleteI am just getting to know this blog. But I am crazy about challenges, especially sketch challenges. So this wil be my first time to join in this week. And tutorials are always great to see and learn from.
ReplyDeleteHappy Thanksgiving!
Hugs,

I get some of the best ideas from this blog - templates that are easy to make cards from, and great ideas using color. I'd like to see more tutorials.

I love the unique sketches and all of the unique ideas that come from each operator. The samples that all of you make are always absolutely gorgeous. I also love seeing all of the creations that everyone creates for the challenge. Sometimes I don't always get around to creating one of my own, but I always love coming to see the amazing creations that everyone comes up with!
ReplyDeleteHappy Thanksgiving!!

Happy Holidays to you ALL!

Hello there, as a new stamper and card maker I love the way you give me a basic outline. Sometimes I know what I want, but have trouble visualising the layout. What a relief ...and JOY to have found a place that offers such excellent suggestions, and the additional bonus of being able to see everyone elses creations really makes you feel enthisiastic. What a wonderful team of people you have, and you need only look at the replies and submissions you get each week to realise the differnece you make in peoples lives. Kudos to you all, you should feel very proud to be able to generate such a response in creativeness!! You HAVE THE POWER!!!
ReplyDeleteThanks very much.

I recently became a follower of this blog, and I love it. It is so challenging to see how everyone does the sketches so differently. And of course I love the tutorials.

Hello Stamping 411!
ReplyDeleteI found your site about three months ago and I love it! It is so very informative and useful in my papercrafting. One of the things I love most is that you are not trying to sell us anything. You are kind enough to share your wonderful knowledge.
I love your site exactly how it is!
Thank You,
Susie (Winnipeg, Mb Canada)
Thanks to all the operators for creating 411. I follow several blogs many of whom are operators so following this one is a no brainer for me. I do not have a way to share my creations but often follow your sketches. Some have become my favorites and I do them over and over especially when my creative juices aren't following. I am a visual learner and love new techniques. I would like to see different card sizes and folds. Dar
ReplyDeleteI've just been visiting your blog for a few weeks now, but I really like yuor sketches! Keep up the great layouts!
ReplyDeleteI'm fairly new here, and I'm here because I need help in the design/layout area of stamping and love what you do! Thank you so much.

ReplyDeleteHello! Happy Thanksgiving! I am a new stamper and recently found your blog. I love the tutorials and the videos!!! The cards you all make are incredible! You inspire me to learn as much as I can about stamping, so I can bless others. Thank you! Blessings, Kym

I love visiting your blog and my favorite are the tutorials. I am a hands on person and really enjoy watching to see how projects are made. It's amazing how much creativity everyone has. It inspires me to learn and apply new techniques to my projects. Thanks for the opportunity to win some blog candy! Happy Holidays.
ReplyDeleteWhat I love about Stamping 411 is that the sketches are great! The examples are always beautiful too. I like the fact that the operators leave comments on my site also, I am not very experienced and the comments help me to stay motivated to keep practicing. Someday I will make beautiful cards like some of the other bloggers out there. I also like being able to visit the blogs of other participants. Thanks so much!
ReplyDeleteThe Inspiration with a capital I...definitely loving the inspiration! The challenges are great too. I've yet to officially play along but I have a notebook full of sketches for future cards based on your challenge maps and one of these days I'll actually get one made and submitted within the deadline. Can't think of a thing I would change. Love the tutorials, tips and all the rest. Love the linky's too so I can visit other blogs/galleries of those who do play along. Thanks for putting the talent to good use and for sharing a wonderful set of loot.
ReplyDeleteHugs and Blessings to you all - Jean Fitch

ReplyDeleteHi Ladies, I hope you had a Happy Thanksgiving. I for one love your site, I do visit it every week and I'm one of those that when I have the time I do the sketch. I love the idea of the measurements as well. I would love to see a color challenge, as I think sometimes they make you think outside the box, cause I know I tend to stick with colors I'm comfortable with. Whatever you decide is fine with me, as I'll still be a regular visitor.
ReplyDeleteThanks again for all you do and making the stamping world a better place.
Hugs from your Canadian friend.

WOW! I am not sure if I have any one reason for visiting this blog. It is everything, I like the tutorials, the ribbon tieing one got me hooked. Happy Thanksgiving. I have Stamping 411 as a bookmark. I keep coming back because of all the fresh ideas, the wonderful challenges. I especially love the layout challenges. You give us dimensions, and let our imaginations take over. I am an avid looker, not so much a participant. (I plan on participating every week, but sometimes life gets in the way.) Thank you for sharing all your wonderful ideas, and helping some of us with the creative juices.
ReplyDeleteThank you for the wonderful variations on sketches and I love the tutorials. This is the place I go when I am looking for ideas to get started.

I LOVE Stamping 411.....you make everything so easy! Although I'm in the category of no participation right now, I hope to stop being a lurker and jump in. The suggested measurements are a real plus and of course the operators always have great samples. Personally, I think the blog is just fine the way it is.
ReplyDeleteBarbara Edwards bestamp@comcast.net
Love the tutorials! Haven't had much time to stamp and participate (due to the birth of my identical twin grandsons!) but enjoy seeing the creations of others and getting great ideas! A mid-week color challenge might add to the fun and give another opportunity to participate! You all are great - please keep up the super jobs that you do!
ReplyDeleteLike several other ladies said, I am a visual person and I love to see how each of you take a sketch and make so different (and all beautiful) cards! I would love to see more tutorials! I have just signed up with SU! in the last 6 months and would like to get my feet wet and start doing a class of two but need ideas! The blogging world is wonderful for this including your blog here! Thank you ladies for sharing with all of us out there - Gail S. from Nebraska
ReplyDeleteI've been a SU demonstator for a year now and try to find inspiration and ideas every where I can, tfs all the wonderful projects!
ReplyDeleteYou all are the best- great sketches, ideas and easy to understand tutorials-your willingness to teach and share shines through each post- thank you all-sue Bee
ReplyDeleteI just discovered your site through a friend of mine. What I think I'll enjoy is the SU! inspiration. As a SU! demo sometimes I find it difficult to make a card purely out of SU! This might make me focus a little more.
ReplyDeleteI'm another one who recently started participating in the weekly sketch challenges. I love em'!! Why change a good thing? I also love what the operators come up with. You all have mad talent. I'm always crazy about the sketches and inspired by the talent. I also love how you give instructions. very helpful and Stamping 411 Is a very friendly place! Hats off to you all. Thanks for doing what you do!
ReplyDeleteI am brand new to this blog and to card making in general. I come here to learn, to get ideas and to see what others are doing. It's a great help and inspiration to me! Thanks.
ReplyDeleteI don;t often get the chance to participate in the challenges but I faithfully read the blog and enjoy the eye candy. I so enjoy the tutorials but there haven't been as many lately. We are all so busy at this time of year. I'd love to see new techniques or things to do with embossing or gifts to make. I'm always looking for ideas in that area. Thanks for all the work you do to keep us inspired!
ReplyDeleteI love seeing the challenges every week! I enjoy all of the different perspectives from the same sketch!
ReplyDeleteThank you,
Angela Pancake
I adore sketch challenges and the opportunity to see what you and other readers have done with the sketches. If I get to play along, I post but so often, I just copy the sketch and keep it for future inspiration. Tutorials are great too!
ReplyDeleteI love all the great challenges you come up with and the great inspiration of the operators. It's great to see all the different interpretations of the same layout.
ReplyDeleteYou ladies rock!
Thanks!
I'm one of those 'visit often, enter less often', but I always come back. I love your sketches and wish I could participate every week!! One thing that's kinda fun with some other challenges is an 'also include' option to go along with the sketch. Thanks for the chance at your candy!!
ReplyDeleteDenise
Congratulations on a very fine blog! I enjoy the sketch challenges . . . I think color challenges would be fun, too. I really, really love inspiration challenges because I am always amazed at the variety of cards that can come out of an inspiration piece. I don't know if Inspiration challenges would be a good fit for all of you, but it is something that I would enthusiastically participate in if you had them!
ReplyDeleteI don't have a lot of time to do challenges because of my busy life . . . but I always make time for Stamping 411. Many, many of the cards I've made have become customer favorites at my classes and workshops. Thank you for that!
