Color Inspiration #109
It's Thursday, and you know what that means at the Stamping 411. It's time for another Color Inspiration Challenge.
I've been busy in the Stampin' Studio designing Valentine's Day cards for both my classes and personal use.
I think cards for little boys are especially challenging. I want to use red and pink. I like all the hearts and frilly things, but boys absolutely do not want any part of that!!!!
So, with that in mind, I put together this color combination......just for the boys!!! This week's color combination is Taken with Teal, Real Red and Apricot Appeal.
Now, just because I stayed away from the girly stuff doesn't mean I can't make it cute.
I used a brand new stamp set called "Love Bandit". Isn't it cute? It's perfect for boys too!!!
This card is for my nephew, Matthew. The entire family gets together once a week for dinner. My mom brings a bag of candy for after dinner. There's Tootsie Pops, Kit Kats, Hershey Bars, caramels and M&Ms.
The focal image says "I like you more than M&Ms". He's going to start giggling for sure when he opens his Valentine!!!
Are you ready to take the Color Challenge? I hope so!! We'd love to see your project if you do. Leave a comment on this post with a link to your project.
We'll be back tomorrow with the Stamper's Showcase highlighting the operators' favorites from Saturday's Sketch Challenge.
Until next time....Happy Stamping everyone!!
