So ~ Are you up for it?? Who doesn't LOVE a good challenge!!
Also ~ we have had many ask ~ again ~ if we require ALL SU products for submissions to Mr. Linky. Although the operators choose to use 100% SU products, we encourage you to play with whatever inspires you. I personally look forward to seeing all the different ideas, and you ALL inspire me in one way or another, so go for it.
As a teensy reminder, We humbly request that when you play along, that you refrain from putting sales stuff in your posts, and know that we will too. We're just here to have fun.
:) Moving right along... Here are one potential set of measurements for you to try with this sketch:
Base layer: 11 x 4 1/4", scored at 5 1/2" and folded to make your base
2nd layer: 5 1/4" x 4" cut on the diagonal
Layer 4: Try measuring the block you are stamping with to determine the right size to cut this layer.
Layer 3: should be 1/4" larger on two sides than layer 3.
Now it's your turn. Never played along with us before? Well, it's easy!
- Make a card
- Post it online somewhere to your blog or other online forum
- Post a link to Mr. Linky (Please be sure to link to your post and not just to your blog so we can find your post a few days later). need directions on that? Check out our posts on "how to use mr linky"
- Have some fun and leave comments for each other (and for the operators if you like their work). ~ Everyone loves comments!

ReplyDeleteWow, so beautiful. when I first looked at the sketch, it was like fingernails down a chalkboard because it is not all EVEN and such...but I am going to try it anyway. LOL thanks for the challenge. This will definitely be a challenge for me to not make it perfectly even on all sides.
ReplyDeleteThanks for this weeks challenge. The sketch works well on a square card too so thanks for the fab, versatile sketch! Great sample cards too!

ReplyDeleteWonderful samples, I finally got in under the wire.
ReplyDeleteLove all the samples and was so excited I finally got to finally play along with one of your challenges!
ReplyDeleteUgh, how do I always miss the posting time for you guys. I need to pay better attention. Would you mind adding the cut off time in the rules? Doesn't need to be date specific, but seomthing along the lines of: Post your entry by 8 am CST on Wednesdays (or something like that). Anyway, I did make a card and want to share it. Next week I'll try to be on time!

Well, the above comment might answer one of my questions. I didn't know there was a cut-off time. I do agree that there needs to better a better set of rules - maybe posted to the right, where they are always visible to new and not-so-new-and-need-reminding viewers (like me).
ReplyDeleteALSO, could you do something similar to the above with the Mr. Linky procedures. I "played along" on Monday and evidently it was seen (THANK YOU for all the nice comments!). I created another today and following what I thought were the same rules from Mr. Linky, I got an entirely different look to my website (don't like it).
Please clarify the challenges and Mr. Linky for the internet challenged players like myself. THANKS.
Sorry I missed the deadline but thanks for a great challenge. here is my card if you would still like to see it. http://stampnscents.blogspot.com/2010/01/stamping-411-ssc134.html
