Saturday Sketch Challenge 164

Good Evening Friends!

It's time for another exhilarating sketch from your Stamping 411 Operators! To see the individual creations and read about how they all went together, just click the names on the side bar to be transported to each individual operator blog.

If you're uploading your card to an online gallery, please use keyword SSC164. If you've never done a challenge and you're looking for a place to post your cards so folks can see them, one of my favorite places to post cards is stampin addicts. If you want, you can check it out!

This week, we have another simple sketch! (love that) If you're a new stamper or a seasoned professional, sketch challenges are a great jumping off point when you're trying to design a card.

What a challenge does for me is, it takes one of the "decisions" out of the your card making process. :) When you do a color challenge... Same thing! You look at the colors and see what you have that will fit what you've done.

I'm going to take a guess at Lee's dimensions (her card is at the top this week) and give you one possible scenario for layering your card.

Base: 11 x 4 1/4" scored and folded in half at 5 1/2"
Layer 2: 4 x 3
Layer 2a: silver circles stuck to the back of layer 2.
Layer 3: a punched shape.. and that's it!!!

Great card Lee! Speaking of Lee..... Does the thought of cutting your card stock using measurements baffle you? Well, you can check out the most awesome post on how to read a ruler written by the very lovely and talented Lee Conrey, by clicking here.
